Kid's Party Food Ideas

Planning a kid's party menu? Kids may have simple taste, but are still attracted to creative presentation. These creatively yummy snacks will really make your party a big hit. So just put on your apron and let's the party begin.

Pinwheel Wraps And Fruit Skewers

  • Fill tortillas with any combination of things your kids like such as cheese, mutton or turkey. Roll up tightly and slice into rounds. Skewer each slice of wrap to make a pinwheel.
  • Use small cookie cutters to make shapes out of a variety of fruit, and then arrange fruit on skewers to serve.

Honey Butter Popcorn

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Whisk 2 tablespoons of honey into the warm butter, and then drizzle over freshly popped plain popcorn. You can easily double or triple the amounts depending on the number of guests. Season with salt to taste and toss to combine. Serve portions in colorful cupcake liners.

Coney Snack mix

Take some ice cream cones and filled them with your kid's favourite snacks like  Teddy Grahams, pretzels, animal crackers, M&M’s, yogurt covered raisins etc.

Teddy Bear Race cars

This snack is perfect for boy's party or a car themed party. Arrange Teddy Grahams, Milky Way bars, chocolate melts, and M&M’s or Skittles in a car shape.

Egghead sandwich

These sandwiches are really tasty and great fun. All you need are scrambled egg, boiled egg, black olives and some vegetables like carrots, green beans, cucumber or anything that your kids love.

Potato Sailboat

This snack is a great idea for pirate themed party. Thread Cheese and potato wedges and cherry tomatoes on skewers.

Apple smiles

This is a simple but fun party food idea. All you will need are mini marshmallows, apples, lemon juice and peanut butter.

'Pretty In Pink' First Birthday Party

Since this was my DD's first birthday party, and I don't want to stick to any theme like Minnie Mouse or Dora because at this age she doesn't understand what actually they are. This was the time I can go with any theme which I have in my mind, so I decided the theme with a pink color and bow. I chose bow because I never took her out without a bow headband or clip.

I replicated the outfit on the custom cake topper and carried the pink bow theme throughout the table decor.

We also put food tags on the buffet table and a thank you tag on the cake table in bow theme.Favor bags were filled with chocolate and small gift for kids.

How did you celebrate your son/Daughter's first birthday party?? :)
